Online Banking Tips:

Changing your Settings:


Logging In

1. To login to Online Banking, navigate to our website at www.northmarkbank.com.

2. On the upper right side of each page, is an "Online Banking" section. Enter your User ID, then click "Login"


3. You will be taken to the login page. If your User ID was recognized, your correct Watermark will be displayed.

If the correct Watermark is displayed, please enter your Online Banking PIN (password) and click on "Submit."



PLEASE NOTE - if the correct Watermark is NOT displayed, please DO NOT login. Instead, use the back button on your browser to return to the Banks' website. Reenter your User ID and click on "Login." If your correct Watermark is still not displayed, please call our Online Banking Department at (978) 686-9100.


Enabling the PIN Reset Feature

Once you establish a PIN Reset question and answer, our system will allow you to change your PIN if you forget it. 

1. To establish the PIN reset question and answer, login to Online Banking. Then select "Options" and "Personal" as shown below.




2. On the Personal Options Page, enter your email address, your custom PIN Reset Question and PIN Reset Answer.



3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Submit"

Next time you forget your PIN, click on the "Forgot your PIN?" Link on the login page.




Forgot your PIN

If you have enabled the PIN Reset Feature (see instructions above), our system will allow you to change your PIN if you forget it.

To change your PIN:

1. To login to Online Banking, navigate to our website at www.northmarkbank.com.

2. On the upper right side of each page, is an "Online Banking" section. Enter your User ID, then click "Login"

3. You will be taken to the login page. If your User ID was recognized, your correct Watermark will be displayed.

If the correct Watermark is displayed, click on the "Forgot your PIN?" link.


4. On the Pin Self Reset Page, enter your User ID, the email associated with your online banking account and an Email subject. By entering your personal e-mail Subject text in this field, we will add this text to the PIN Self-Reset email we send you so you will know that the e-mail from us concerning your PIN is legitimate and was generated by an inquiry of yours. 


5. Click on "Continue"

6. The next screen will contain a message confirming that we have sent you a password reset message. Check your email promptly as the link we send to reset your password will only be valid for two hours. Once you receive the email, verify that the subject matches the text you entered into the email Subject box on the PIN Self Reset screen, then click on the link provided in the email.


Changing Your User ID

The initial User ID provided by the Bank is a long number beginning with 9087. You can easily change your User ID to something more memorable.

1. To change your User ID, login to Online Banking. Then select "Options" and "Personal" as shown below.


2. Scroll down to the "Modify Login Information" section. There, you will see your current User ID. Enter your new User ID and click on "Submit. After creating this new User ID, you will be able to use either the new User ID or the original number to login.




Changing Your PIN

Our system will require you to change your PIN periodically. You can also change your PIN at any time through the Options tab.

1. To change your PIN, login to Online Banking. Then select "Options" and "Personal" as shown below.


2. Scroll down to the "Modify Login Information" section. In that section, you can enter your current PIN and then enter and confirm you new PIN. Finally, click on "Submit" to finalize the PIN change.



Changing the Names Shown for Each of Your Accounts

For security reasons, our system will never display your account numbers online. Instead, the system assigns "pseudo names" to each of your deposit and loan accounts. You can change the account names to be more descriptive by using the Options tab.

1. To change the names of your accounts, login to Online Banking. Then select "Options" and "Account" as shown below.




2. Use the drop-down box to select either Deposit or Loan Accounts.


3. Your accounts will be displayed with their current pseudo names. For each account, type the new name you would like to use, then click on "Submit." When you look at your account list, your accounts will now be displayed with their new pseudo names.
